I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland and have a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#12663) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Through a circuitous path as a helping professional, I have accumulated over 30 years of experience in rehabilitation psychology in my career as a neuro-developmental physiotherapist, and gained extensive experience assessing and treating impairment in physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and occupational capacities due to injury, illness, or trauma.

My personal style integrates the key concepts and techniques of several theoretical orientations to fit the needs and variability of diverse client groups. My integrated approach covers a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, intergenerational, life transitions, seniors’ problems, and all relationship difficulties.
